Дима Горелик

Dima Gorelik is a guitarist and songwriter, as well as a famous composer. The guy has Ukrainian roots, which makes him equally popular in central Europe. From a young age, Dima composed music and never stopped there. According to the composer himself, his official career began under the leadership of Shai Cohen, a famous Israeli saxophonist, virtuoso, composer and multi-instrumentalist.

While studying at the College of Music, Dima Gorelik closely communicated and collaborated with Arnie Lawrence along with wonderful and talented artists such as: Omri Mor, Itamar Doary, Max Roach, Eli Debri, James Moody, Daniel Zamir, Avishai Cohen, Shay Maestro, Omer Avital, Anat Cohen, Adam Nussbaum, and many others.

The talented Gorelik was twice awarded the America-Israel Foundation prize for his unique musical compositions. From 2002 to 2005, the maestro served at the IDF, where he received the honorary status of an outstanding musician in the Israeli Ministry of Culture.

Dmitry took part in numerous recordings, both as a leader and an accompanist. Glory to the guy was brought by his program "Dima Gorelik 30" of the project "Anno Dominik" and an album with Vladispav Nadishanov and Jazzko Brod, one of the creators of the project "Deborah". With this program, he was honored to perform at festivals such as the Warsaw Singer Festival and the Palm Jazz Festival. There was no point in delaying, and the guy recorded the entire program at the Agnieszki Osieckiej recording studio. Having received a good studio disc, the musician began to take part in television programs such as "Friday on the nanny", "Pegaz", Holo Polonia "and others.

The ratings for all television shows and radio stations were enormous. Phones were bursting with calls, everyone wanted to hear the recording of a young talented composer. In 2010, Krzysztof Kobylinsky invited the musician to Poland, where he performed his compositions in front of a large hall, after which he recorded new songs together with Joey Calderazzo, Moshio Trio, Etienne Mabap, Miroslav Vitusz, Louis Sklavis, David Kukirman, Clarence Penn, Zogars Penn Fresco, Gary Moose, Ziv Ravitz, Yasushi Nakamuro, Brad Terry, etc.

Dima currently lives in Warsaw. The musician creates solo compositions and at the same time leads the trio. The guy loves to experiment and often plays with Trilok Gurtu, Vyacheslav Ganelin, Zbigniew Namyslowski, Anna Maria Jopek, Kroke, Stanislav Soyka, Auxo, Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Janusz Muniak ", " Joshko Broda ", " Maciej Obara ", " Maria Pomianovskaya ", " Wojciech Waglewski ", " Grazhina Augudzhik ", " Adam Baldych "and others.

Filled with the inspiration to perform his music, displaying the tasteful restraint and maturity of a seasoned artistry, Gorelik constantly explores his musical self and develops remarkable skills, often mixing jazz with ethnic music.
